Albanian Power Corporation (KESH sh.a.) has published in its web page a call the expression
of interest for leasing of a thermal power generation asset on date 05.01.2022 based on the
Decision of Council of Ministers (DCM) No. 620 date October 22, 2021 for the “Approval of
the Public Supply Obligation (PSO) conditions for the licensed entities of the Albanian
Electricity Sector during the Power Supply Emergency Status in order to prevent and withstand
the consequences of global energy crisis” which imposes KESH with the obligation to provide
all the electricity needed to meet the demand of Universal Service Supplier (FSHU)
Based on the above DCM provisions KESH has published the call in its webpage, in an
international business gazette webpage and also in the Albanian Public Procurement Bulletin.
Within the published deadline, the company has received two expressions of interest from:

• Exelerate Energy and Renco s.p.a
• Distributed Power Solutions

From the above expressions on interests, Exelerate Energy and Renco s.p.a, expression has
been qualified during the Compliance assessment.
The expression of interest of Company Distributed Power Solution was no in compliance with
the provisions of Call for Expression of Interest.
The offer from Exelerate Energy and Renco s.p.a. has been evaluated for the selective
assessment as per the Call for Expression of Interest and has been awarded as winner.
Based on Decision of Council of Minister No. 620/2021, as amended documentation will be
published in KESH website.
