The construction of this work on the Drin River will increase the security of energy supply in our country, will improve the management of the Drin cascade and reduce the risk of floods in the Shkodra area.

The first phase of this project consists of conducting engineering, environmental, social and financial studies and analyzes to determine its feasibility (feasibility).

Activities that are being carried out at this stage include:

• Engineering and design studies;

• Environmental and social surveys as part of the ESIA process (Environmental and Social Impact Assessment);

• Geotechnical studies;

• Topographic, batimetric and photogrammetric surveys;
