The Albanian Electric Power Corporation (KESH sh.a.) together with the consultant Abkons organized the Hearing with the Public in the framework of the preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the project of the “Temporary Floating Thermal Plant and Auxiliary Infrastructure” located in Triport, V at TPP Vlora, in order to inform and involve the public in environmental decision-making.

The hearing took place near the area where this project will take place. Participation in this consultation was very wide, with representatives of local businesses in the area, residents of Narta, Zvërnec and Vlora as well as representatives of the Regional Directorate of Environment Fier, Vlora Municipality, Administrative Units and the National Agency of Protected Areas.

During the hearing, the report of the environmental impact assessment study was presented, as well as discussions were held through key actors regarding the implementation of the project, which will be reflected in the final report.
