Scope
Replacement of the existing old stairs, which were depreciated, with stainless steel stairs at the well of the operation gates and the well reassemblage gates in the discharge tunnel No.3. The main aspect in the installation of the new stairs was the increase of the technical safety measures for the workers and technical personnel which are responsible formaintenance and reassemblage of operation gates and reassemblage gates in discharge tunnel No. 3 in Fierza HPP.
Main activities
The main activity of the project consists of two phases:
• During the first phase, the new stairs were constructed in the workshop of the contracting company.
• During the second phase, the old stairs were dismantled and removed on the site of discharge tunnel No. 4.
After the old stairs were dismantled, the new ones were installed.
Expectations
The technical safety of the workers and the technical personnel responsible for repair and maintenance was significantly increased.
